7 Minutes Rule for 3 weeks for being consistent and avoid give up!

Hold on! Why 7 minutes?

Because,  nearly 0.5% of 24 hours is 7 minutes, and 0.5% of your day can easily be spared for your betterment and growth.

Lack of consistency is the general problem for everybody. Firstly, I would suggest you to, go through the previous blog Consistency Outplays Talent. When you decide to be consistent in a particular thing, and due to some reasons you fail to continue, then try this 7 Minutes Rule, because why not.

  •  Task-A = The task which you are regularly doing by default.
  • Task-B = Task with which you want to be consistent.
Take any random target for practice. Anything you are actually doing regularly, like if you are fond of reading regularly then take 'read a book' for 7 minutes challenge or if you play PC like an addict then take 'playing your favourite game on PC' for 7 minutes challenge, anything for just 7 minutes daily, for 3 weeks. Name this as Task-A.

That is, you are only using 147 minutes out of your 30,240 minutes (3 weeks)  for your Task-A. Not a big deal right? You can easily allot 7 minutes from a day.

  • Strictly 7 minutes, not a single second more.
  • Tell your, parent or sibling to monitor your practice. No lunch before those precious 7 minutes.
This will help you with increasing your self-belief. Once you gain confidence that, you are goal-oriented person you can use this power to be consistent in Task-B
You can Do It

Now, Trick your mind!

This is an important thing. Convincing your mind that if you can do the Task-A consistently, you can do any damn thing consistently. You consistently did a Task-A, now convince your mind that you can do that actual Task-B.
This will boost your self-confidence and it will help you to achieve consistency.

Start Fresh

Now, take Task-B for 7 minutes challenge. Do it for 7 minutes daily for 3 weeks. And I bet you will see the consistency graph growing linearlyYou already tricked your mind and boosted your self-confidence. I can assure you that chances of failure are reduced.

Mind is very easy to control if you actually know how to control it, else your ignorant mind will control you.

  • If you follow this method, your chances of failure are reduced.
  • You can easily manipulate and control your mind.
  • If you are well determined you can be consistent in any damn thing.
  • Control your mind before it controls you.
  • You can also use this method to quit your bad habits.
  • You are one step closer to your productive life.
  • Remember, consistency outplays talent. So be consistent.

Everything you need to know about Overthinking!

First you assume somethinng then you overthink, then you get worried about non-existing problem, then you again overthink about the solutionEverything starts with assumptions. For no reason at all we assume something!
Why this assumption? (Phase-1) Ever thought about that? No, because we don't think so deeply about the existing problems. We love to create more problems assuming irrelevant things. We think about the useless things which will generate stress! Agree on it or not but yes unknowingly we enjoy stressful situations. And when everything is going fine we tend to find stress. Everyone is living in stressful situations, those who cannot manage it properly fail miserably. Stress is an important factor for growth, only and only if it is managed properly. For example, a marathon runner should stress his lungs if he wants to run. If he is not stressing them up to the mark we will not complete the race. Also if he is overstressing his lungs, eventually he will fail. So to complete…

Go and Inquire

The human being is different from every other living being. Intelligence is what makes humans differ from other living beings. Intelligence to choose between what is right and what is wrong. Also, intelligence to think out of the box.         It important for a human being to control his mind. Not to act like a cat and dogs. That is a human being. He should be inquisitive. Why the things around me are happening and he should learn from it. If he does not inquire or if he does not take education, then what is the difference between him and the dog. He has got the opportunity of human life he should use it wisely by gaining useful knowledge and be inquisitive. he should avoid keeping himself in dog status. Not to use this human birth simply for eating, sleeping, sex life and defending. Dog's barking disturbs people, the dog does not inquire about how to control barking, but in our case, we can inquire. Therefore the Vedic injunction is 'Go and Inquire'. We shoul…
